I am a type geek from way back; not a type designer, but a user. HFJ created works of art. It's so satisfying to get lost in every interior curve, every bar, every ascender and descender. They should teach type design as a therapeutic tool!

This was so refreshing! Thank you! I see branding mostly as an art form, a very natural artistic expression, as any art form very basic and not imaginable without social, human context. So many books and sessinos that, talking about branding, almost immediately switch to marketing blah blah. So, again: THANK YOU. So inspiring!

Been offered a graphic design job interview for large production movies (in Ireland too no less). Currently researching the job to see what I actually have to do. Panicing because I didn't even consider this as a career path and don't know what to show as a portfolio or practice. This video was immensely helpful.

I thought there was something way off in her math when she said the first visible occurred 380,000 years ago. The stars have been around for billions of years. She read the graph wrong. What she should have said is that visible light occurred 380,000 years after the big bang, not years ago.
